Stress-free handling of 3D data with Elysium data translators from Majenta PLM

It took ages to import the 3D model, design intent has been obscured, accuracy now has to be double checked and it’s still not clear if the machine tool will recognize all the manufacturing properties within the data.

Precious development time is lost when users struggle to translate, repair and remaster information that’s been moved from one system to another. It’s a quality and efficiency issue that impacts all the way from concept through to post-sales; but there is a solution.

Majenta PLM is now Elysium’s business partner in the UK and providing customers with the tools to ensure the seamless exchange of 3D CAD/CAM/CAE information along the entire supply chain.

A range of interoperability solutions

One of the leading products within the Elysium portfolio is CADdoctor, for precise multi-CAD data translation with geometry validation and guided repair. For NX users, the Siemens plug-in, CADdoctor for NX, supports data accuracy at every stage of product development.

Elysium’s enterprise solution, ASFALIS, connects design, manufacturing, purchasing and sales departments by providing CAD data translation and distribution throughout the entire product lifecycle.

CADfeature provides the transfer of complete design intent, with the scalability to address the needs of individual designers and global enterprises. It supports features and 3D-2D drawing associativity.

Through strong partnerships with CAD vendors, Elysium can provide a seamless connection between different CAD systems. DirectTranslator ensures the smooth transfer of geometry directly from one CAD system to another, with much greater ease and quality than data exchange via neutral formats.

InfiPoints is a powerful software that gives users the ability to view and utilise 3D scanned point cloud data for design, analysis and pre- and post-processing.

Geometric integrity guaranteed

Elysium has been developing and marketing interoperability solutions to the global market since 1984 and currently supports data exchange between 3DEXPERIENCE, CATIA V4/V5/V6, Creo Elements/Direct, Creo Parametric, Inventor, NX, NX I-deas, SOLIDWORKS and other multi-CAD systems.

“I am delighted that Majenta PLM is a member of Elysium’s worldwide network of partners and distributor,” says Mark Parry, Managing Director at Majenta PLM. “Elysium has thousands of customers and has facilitated the translation of millions of files. At Majenta PLM we are now in a position to provide specialist technology that optimises the geometry widely used by our own customers.”
