Course Objective;

After you complete this course, you should be able to:

  • Pull, move, and replace faces
  • Resize and replace blends
  • Resize and label chamfers
  • Delete faces
  • Cut, copy, paste, and pattern faces
  • Create linear, angular, and radial dimensions
  • Shell faces
  • Edit a cross section

Who's it for?

This course is for users who are already familiar with NX, but want to learn how to start using the Synchronous Modelling design tools. Synchronous technology unites parametric and history-free modelling regardless of the origins or associativity. This course provides hands-on activities and practice projects that focus on history-free and parametric constraint-driven techniques to accelerate the design process used to create new parts, and to edit existing parts.

Prerequisites

  • Essentials for NX Designers, or
  • Feature Modelling – Fundamentals self-paced courses in Learning Advantage.
  • Prerequisite concepts: Design in NX and sketching in NX.
